The Harem House

House Personality

The House enforces a very few rules, but has a great many odd, fun little quirks that make living there an every day adventure! Most of these quirks are used to prompt roleplay -- after all, the purpose of the House is to help the residents find what they're searching for and work through the problems they struggle with. The House provides what the boys need to help themselves.

House Rules

1. Violent fighting is not allowed. Physical fights can only happen in the Danger Room or outside the House walls. If an altercation does turn seriously violent, the House will magically eject the participants out onto the lawn.

2. No sex in the kitchen. The kitchen is Cye's domain and he will not stand for messes of any kind in it. Anyone caught being naughty in the kitchen risks punishment from Cye! Of course, this doesn't stop many adventurous residents from trying to get away with it!

The House Provides

While the House won't do all the housework for the boys, she does provide the basic things they need... and many things they didn't realize they'd need!

Open Rooms -- Bedrooms for all residents occupy the second or third floor. How does a new boy know which room is his? It's the door that opens for him when he tries the handle. All other doors will be closed and locked until they are occupied.

Clothes and Toiletries -- The House is full of closets and wardrobes offering all sorts of clothing. Residents can always find appropriate clothing if they can't go shopping for whatever reason. Sexy outfits and costumes can often be found in the attic or one of the ground-floor Leather Rooms.

The Attic -- Anything you can imagine might be found in the attic. Items from a boy's past, photo albums that never existed, favorite belongings long thought destroyed. Furniture and room decorations can also be found there, along with clothes and art and other things to help residents feel at home.

Fun, Safe Play -- Lubrication and condoms are kept all over the House, in every room and any place you can imagine. The House wants the boys to have fun!

Babel Fish -- Since characters in the House come from all over the world, and all over many worlds, the House provides automatic translation so all the residents can understand each other. Characters can speak in their own language if they do it purposefully. The House knows the difference.

Getting To and From the House

Portals -- Usually, when a new resident comes to the House from a part of the world that isn't Japan, or another world entirely, a portal is opened that allows them to return to their homes easily. This doesn't always happen, though! If, for whatever reason, a character needs to stay at the House full-time, the way home may not open immediately.

Time -- So that characters don't miss too much at home, time at the House doesn't flow the same as it does everywhere. Weeks might pass at the House while only a couple of days go by at the characters' home.

Trods and Wormholes -- There are two specific locations in the House that lead directly to other places:
1. Behind a particular bush in the rose garden is a Trod (a faerie path) that leads to the closet in the spare bedroom of Ran and Cye's apartment in town.
2. On the third floor, in the supply closet of a conference room, is a door that leads to Schwarz's headquarters on an island in the Mediterranean.
