The Harem House

House and Grounds

The Harem House is a gigantic, sprawling structure, surrounded by deep woods and luxurious gardens. Though the House tends to change and morph when no one's looking to accomadate its residents, some features always remain the same.

Particular location names that you might see in roleplay are shown in bold.

Inside the House

The First Floor

Much of the House's first floor is taken up by the giant Main Room, where most of the action takes place. This large, open great room contains many couches and chairs, a very modern entertainment center, a well-stocked bar, and a cozy fireplace for those snuggly winter nights. The main room is grouped into different areas so there is always some place for the residents to gather, no matter what is going on.

Opening off the main room is a spacious modern kitchen, containing a large refridgerator with food for all the boys, a walk-in pantry, and a dining table big enough to seat everyone in residence. The kitchen is open to the main room so traffic and conversation can flow between the two rooms, though some parts of each room aren't quite visible in the other.

Toward the back of the House on the first floor are a collection of rooms whose doors are usually locked. These are the Leather Rooms -- rooms of varying themes for sexual play and atmosphere. Sex toys of all kinds can be found in the cabinets, along with plenty of lubrication and protection. These rooms, like the rest of the House, tend to change based on what excites the one using them the most.

Also on the first floor are Ran's modern greenhouse, a well-outfitted workout room, and a two-story library that takes up a large corner of the House. The library contains a very large selection of books, everything from sex manuals and erotic stories to ancient research on demons and supernatural phenomena.

The Second Floor

Two staircases lead from the first floor to the second. One comes up from the main room, while the other is more hidden and takes one from the kitchen to the back of the House. On the second floor are primarily resident bedrooms, arranged in sometimes bewildering long halls. Each bedroom is decorated to the taste of its owner, either through the House's magic or with things the residents bring with them, or find in the attic. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, as luxurious as the room's owner wants it.

Even with many boys keeping up permanent or semi-permanent residence in the House, some bedrooms remain empty and locked. A bedroom's door does not open except for the person meant to occupy it. After it's occupied, the resident decides if it stays locked or is open for others to enter.

Often, a warm, sunlit atrium can be found on the second floor as well, though it is not always there.

The Third Floor and Attic

More staircases lead up to the third floor, which contains more bedrooms for the most part. One bedroom has been converted into an executive conference room, which sees little use except to lead to Schwarz's villa near Greece.

A half-staircase leads up to the attic, which takes up the entire top floor of the House. Strange things can always be found in the attic, and many rainy days see the residents up there, exploring boxes and trunks and wardrobes.

It's easy to access the roof from the third floor and attic, as well, for those occasions that require rooftop contemplation.

Outside the House

The Grounds

Deep woods ring the generous House grounds, separating it securely from the rest of rural Japan. The grounds include a beautiful rose garden, directed by Ran and maintained by anyone with the desire to do so. In the garden is the fae Trod that leads to Ran and Cye's flower shop in the city. A short walk from the gardens is a picturesque lake with a small sandy shore, perfect for swimming in the summer and ice-skating in the winter.

A couple of out-buildings occupy the grounds alongside the House. A covered walkway leads to the bath house, which contains an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tubs and a locker space. Lush plants decorate the corners and soft pads are rolled up along the marble walls to soften the floors for anyone who desires a massage, or something more entertaining than bathing.

Finally, at a modest distance from the house for safety purposes, Watari keeps a bunker full of the latest mad-scientist supplies.
